The story of how God is glorified through the Girls of Truth project

Between the years of 1972-1975, I received the first of many dolls I would acquire throughout my life. My first dolls were from a line of dolls with hair that could grow longer or shorter by pushing a button and turning a knob. Velvet, Chrissy, and Cinnamon are still with me today, along with their accessories, including the clothes sewn by my grandmothers. Another special collection of dolls includes the “Little Maids of the 13 Colonies,” a gift from my mother.
As the years passed, I began to think about combining my faith and my love of dolls by creating a line of dolls for young girls based on Biblical “girls.” The dolls would represent truth based on scripture and show how their stories glorify God. My hope is that Girls of Truth will enable young girls of today to discover how their stories can be for God’s glory, too!
